Exodus began over 30 years ago as a network of ministries who coalesced around the issue of overcoming homosexuality. Today, that ministry network has grown to include over 260 Member Ministries, Churches and Professional Counselors in North America, which is broken down into 13 Regions. Each region is overseen by a Regional Coordinator as shown below. Our Coordinators serve their region in building the network in their region, and as well may be able to help you if you can not find a ministry in your immediate area.

Jeff Buchanan Executive Vice President

As the Executive Vice President of Exodus International, Jeff Buchanan oversees the more than 260 churches and member agencies across North America that offer hope and help to men and women desiring freedom from homosexuality. He currently oversees the Exodus Church Association, an interdenominational network of more than 165 churches across the nation seeking to compassionately address the subject of biblical sexuality.
Jeff has been interviewed by countless television, print and radio outlets including FoxNews.com, ABCnews.com, National Public Radio and the Christian Broadcasting Network. Richard Morton Director of Ministry Relations

Richard Morton is the Ministry Relations Director for Exodus International. No stranger to ministry, Richard is the founder and director of Hope Squared. For ten years, his ministry has provided groups for unwanted same-sex attractions, codependency, sexual addiction, food addiction, anxiety and depression. He has also served as the Chairman of the Board for The Recovery Fellowship of GA, Inc., a Living Stones Ministry. Richard lives in Atlanta, GA where he is an active member of his local church.

Dr. Marc Dillworth, Ph.D. Director of the Exodus Professional Counselors Network

Dr. Dillworth has degrees in clinical psychology and Christian counseling. He is a state licensed mental health provider in Florida and has a private practice for 30 years. He has worked with people all over the world, via office, telephone, and Skype, who struggle with unwanted homosexuality, Gender Identity Disorder in children and families dealing with active gay family members.

Jason Thompson is executive director of Portland Fellowship, in Portland, Oregon, the producer of the Interactive CD ROM, “The Map” and the creator of the online support program ReachTruth.com. Jason and his wife, Amy, have two sons, Trevor and Cody and one baby girl who went to be with Jesus in 2001. Jason has been involved with Portland Fellowship since 1989.

Carl Conli serves as director of HIS Ministry (He Is Strong), a ministry he founded in 1990. David Rasmussen North-Central Tier

David Rasmussen started Simon Ministries in 1999 with his wife Diane. Simon Ministries became part of the Missions Outreach at Bridgewood Community Church in Blaine, Minnesota. He retired in 2003 to serve in ministry full time. They have two adopted sons.

Leslie Gunby Rockies

Lesli is the founder and Executive Director Waiting Room Ministry with two locations in Arizona. Leslie knows the grief and confusion Christian families’ face when a loved one announces they are gay and the healing that takes place when there is a support community that shares that pain. She is passionate about helping the Church understand how they can be a part of the healing process. Leslie’s husband Jim supports her and the families that attend the ministry. Jim Venice Mid-Central

Jim Venice had his own struggle with homosexuality as a young man. He married his childhood sweetheart Debbie in 1986 thinking that getting married would “fix” his homosexuality. He soon discovered that getting married did NOT fix things at all. They were divorced for a number of years while Jim embraced homosexuality. In 1996 Jim had an encounter with God that changed his heart and started his journey out of homosexuality. He and Debbie did remarry. Together they started Pure Heart Ministries in Saint Louis MO in 2002. Since then they have had the opportunity to minister and bring the hope of Christ to countless men, women, families, and churches impacted by homosexuality. They have an adult son and a teenage daughter.

Jerry Armelli Great Lakes Basin

Jerry A. Armelli, M.Ed. is Director and a Founder of Prodigal Ministries Inc. in Cincinnati, Ohio. Jerry has taught extensively and his testimony has been heard internationally. His teaching experience includes: Exodus International conferences: Gordon College (MA), Loyola, Trinity University (TX), Point Loma Nazarene University (CA), Asbury Theological Seminary (KY), University of Toronto (Canada) and Focus on the Family’s Love Won Out conference. Richard Holloman Southern Gulf

Richard has been on the journey of recovery out of homosexuality since 1995. He is the Founder and Executive Director of The Sight Ministry (2000) located in Nashville, TN. For 40 years, Richard has served as a pastor, campus minister and pastoral counselor, and presently serves as Director of Celebrate Recovery at Two Rivers Baptist Church of Nashville, TN. He has been an active member of the Southern Baptist Convention Taskforce on Homosexuality for several years and currently serves as a Mission Service Corp Missionary with the North American Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention.

Garry Ingraham North Atlantic

Garry Ingraham is The Pastor of Soul-Care Ministries at Union Center Christian Church (an ECA church) in Endicott, NY. Garry and his wife, Melissa, have been involved with the ministry of Exodus for over 10 years. Melissa is a Professional Christian Counselor and a part of the Exodus Professionals Network.
They both have a passion for ministry to the sexually and relationally broken, and love to teach and share about their own journey through homosexuality and God’s continuing refinement in their lives. Tony Moore Mid-Atlantic

Tony Moore is Associate Director of Truth Ministry and serves Exodus International as the Mid-Atlantic Regional Coordinator. Tony serves Truth Ministry as a counselor and teacher, and recently served as general editor for the Hope for Wholeness workbook. He enjoys sharing his testimony of God’s grace with conferences and churches across the nation. Tony has been in pastoral ministry since graduating from Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri in 1981 and serves as lead pastor at Transformation House in his hometown of Greenville, South Carolina. His ministry passion is to share the message of freedom with those affected by sexual and relational brokenness. He and his wife, Judy, have been married since 1979 and are now enjoying their twelve grandchildren.

Billie Jimenez has been working with Worthy Creations, an Exodus Referral Ministry in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, for 6 years as the facilitator for the family support group. She and her husband John live in Key Largo, Fl. and have two wonderful sons. She is passionate about helping others move through this journey by sharing how the Lord has brought restoration to their family. John is supportive of this ministry, knowing the great need of education in churches and families struggling with the impact of homosexuality. Kenny Warkentin Canada

Kenny Warkentin has been involved in full time ministry since 2006. He works for Living Waters Canada-Central Region as the Resource Programs Coordinator. He is passionate about the Body of Christ and seeing men and women set free from captivity, particularly same gender attraction. He believes the message of redemption is to be balanced with 100% truth and 100% grace. He and his wife Paula have spoken locally and internationally regarding the issue of homosexuality. They are both writers and Kenny is a column writer for the Christian Courier Newspaper and his theme revolves around same gender and the body of Christ. They have been married since 2007 and have a daughter Phoebe.
