Alan Chambers President

Alan Chambers is the President of Exodus International — the largest worldwide Christian organization dealing with the issue of homosexuality today. Alan’s own story as a teen and young adult who overcame unwanted same-sex attraction has inspired audiences around the world and he brings unique insight into this difficult social issue. A frequent guest on media outlets across the country, Alan has been interviewed by The New York Times, TIME magazine, Newsweek, ABC’s Good Morning America, Nightline, The Fox Network and CNN. He is the author of two books — God’s Grace & The Homosexual Next Door: Reaching the Heart of the Gay Men & Women in Your World and Leaving Homosexuality.
He and his wife, Leslie, are the proud parents of two children and make their home in Orlando, Florida.

Jeff Buchanan Executive Vice President

As the Executive Vice President of Exodus International, Jeff Buchanan oversees the more than 260 churches and member agencies across North America that offer hope and help to men and women desiring freedom from homosexuality. Since its launch in 1976, Exodus has become the largest evangelical ministry dealing with this topic in the world today and remains committed to helping those seeking God’s healing and transformation.
Jeff’s experience as a Christian who struggled with same-sex attraction and later, as a pastor counseling others has uniquely prepared him to assist church and ministry leaders seeking to address these challenging issues. He has spent more than ten years in church ministry and is a frequent guest speaker at events around the country.
He currently oversees the Exodus Church Association, an interdenominational network of more than 160 churches across the nation seeking to compassionately address the subject of biblical sexuality.

Joe Dallas

Joe Dallas is a pastoral counselor, author of several books geared to the sexual struggler along with leaders who desire to become better equipped in ministering to those affected by sexual addiction and identity issues. Joe is also a highly sought-after public speaker and counselor who directs a Biblical counseling ministry in Tustin, CA. He directs a men’s seminar on sexual purity titled “The Game Plan” and speaks regularly at churches, universities and conferences nationally and internationally. He and his wife Renee have two sons and reside in Southern California.

Renee Dallas

Renee Dallas has been involved in ministry to wives and women since 1992. She is the Administrator of Genesis Counseling, where she has led groups for wives and consulted with women in crises. She currently serves as an Elder at Newport Mesa Church in Costa Mesa, California, where she was previously appointed Director of the HELPS (Women’s) Ministry Team. She is a member of National Evangelical Women in Ministry (NEWIM), and has served on the Women’s Ministry Board as well.
In addition to running the WifeBoat blog, Renee is a frequent guest speaker at churches and seminars. She and her husband Joe have presented workshops on marriage and relationship issues at conferences, church services and recovery-oriented meetings such as Celebrate Recovery and Exodus International. She is the proud mother of two sons, and the wife of a big old high maintenance bear.

Mike & Stephanie Goeke

Mike and Stephanie Goeke were married in September of 1994. Their marriage was rocked when Mike walked out in November of 1996 to pursue a life built around his long-time struggle with homosexuality. After six months of separation, they reconciled and began the rebuilding of their individual lives and their marriage. In 1999, they formed Cross Power Ministries. In 2001, Mike left the practice of law to go on staff at Stonegate Fellowship in Midland, Texas, as Executive Pastor. In 2005, Mike took the position of Executive Vice President and Church Liaison for Exodus International in Orlando, Florida. They moved back to Midland in December of 2006, and Mike is currently a pastor in the counseling department of Stonegate Fellowship, where part of his duties include running and growing CPM. Mike and Stephanie have three young children, Margaret, Frances and Peter.

Jason Thompson

In 1989, at the age of 19, Jason Thompson approached a crossroads in his young life --what to do with his unwanted homosexual feelings. Relying on his Christian upbringing, he made the difficult decision to follow God's word and sought help to overcome his struggle and walk in freedom. His search led him to Portland Fellowship, a Christ-centered ministry to those who desire change from sexual brokenness. Through biblical counseling, and loving support, Jason overcame his homosexuality and now serves as Executive Director for Portland Fellowship and Regional Coordinator for Exodus International. Jason graduated from Multnomah Bible College in Portland, Oregon and holds a Masters Degree in Counseling from Western Seminary and is an ordained minister through the church. He also is an adjunct professor at Multnomah Biblical Seminary. Jason and his wife Amy had Abigail, who passed away in 2001 at 3 months old, due to a heart defect and is now raising, Trevor born in 2003, and Cody born in 2007.
Jason has counseled numerous young adults and has spoken to many church groups, colleges (including Moody Bible Institute and Multnomah Bible College, Concorida, Linfield, George Fox, and Western Seminary), and retreat centers. His story has been published in several magazines and booklets. Jason made appearances on local and national Christian and secular television programs and has been interviewed on several local and national radio programs. Jason has also produced the "The Map", and interactive CD ROM for youth -- complete with video testimonies, questions and answers, teen resources, and a 20 lesson interactive curriculum. And July 2008 produced and launched www.reachtruth.com, an online support program.

Ricky Chelette

Ricky presently serves as Executive Director of Living Hope Ministries and Minister of Pastoral Ministries at First Baptist Church, Arlington, Texas. As an ordained pastor, Ricky has over twenty-five years of ministry experience with the majority of those years in youth/student/young adult work. He is a gifted speaker, teacher and lecturer and is committed to equipping the church in understanding sexual and relational brokenness. As Executive Director, Ricky also directs the largest online forum outreach to youth and young adults who struggle with same gender attractions at www.livehope.org. Ricky and his wife, Merlinda, make their home in Arlington, Texas.

Leon & Angela Yuan

Dr. Leon L. Yuan received his PhD in Physical Chemistry from the Stevens Institute of Technology and his DDS from Loyola University School of Dentistry. Dr. Yuan taught at Loyola Dental School for twenty-five years and now has a private dental practice He is also involved in Bible Study Fellowship with various leadership positions over the last seventeen years. He has given personal testimony at Promise Keeper Conferences in front of eighty-five thousand men. Together with Angela, he is actively involved in his son Christopher's ministry.
Angela Yuan has experienced much heartache in her lifetime, due to absentee parents, a broken marriage, and a prodigal son who embraced homosexuality. Born in Szechuan Province, China, she immigrated to the United States in 1964, later marrying Leon Yuan and having two sons, Steven and Christopher. She has spent countless hours volunteering and is the founder and president of I-CARE (Illinois Chinese-American Residence for the Elderly). She has been highly involved with Bible Study Fellowship International, serving in leadership for more than thirteen years, and was a part of the pioneering team which was invited by the Chinese communist government to start BSF in Beijing. She is considered by many to be a prayer warrior, interceding for her children and countless others.
Angela collaborated with her son Christopher Yuan on a new book that was released in May 2011.
